Tran Van Trung

Trung is a director with over 18 years experience in providing tax and consulting services, advising tax implications on real estate, power & infrastructure, investment form structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and human resources consulting to a number of large multi-national corporations in Vietnam.

His industry experience in included :

• Advised various foreign investors in their market analysis, Vietnam regulatory frameworks, tax due diligence, tax structuring and planning in diverse portfolio, including clients in factory rental industrial.
• Assisted a number of investors in on-going power projects during the feasibility study and financial model preparation.
• Assisted the investor of power plant in tax advisory and  tax compliance during the project’s implementation.
• Assisted the main EPC contractors for the first three oil refinery projects in Vietnam in tax advisory and  tax compliance during the project’s implementation.
• Assisted a Singapore-base company in a 1,200MW coal –fired power plant. Scope of advisory services include tax planning, structuring,  tax and regulatory implementation and further negotiation with relevant authorities.
• Assisted various investors to acquire Hydro Power Plants and various inventors in the green field solar and wind projects.
